Regina Slater has accumulated more than 12 years of medical speech pathology experience, specializing in caseload development and progressive neurological disorders. Her comprehensive clinical background spans various medical settings—ranging from outpatient clinics, acute care, and tracheostomy/ventilator specialty hospitals to TBI continuum of care community reintegration, Aging in Place Assisted Living and Independent Living campuses, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.
With extensive experience as both a Regional Director and Compliance Officer, Regina is an expert in developing, monitoring, and maintaining robust rehabilitative departments that excel in clinical outcomes and operational procedures. Her passion for education has led her to present at ASHA on the importance of clinical specialties, offer community-based education, and mentor Clinical Fellows each year.
When not consulting, managing, treating, or mentoring, Regina stays up-to-date on cutting-edge treatment techniques. She also treasures quality time with her son, two “furbaby” puppies, and a close network of family and friends.
